Tupperware Brands Corporation on Fortune’s Most Admired Companies List

Tupperware Brands Corporation (NYSE: TUP) has again been recognized in the Home Equipment category of Fortune’s recently released “Most Admired Companies” list. Tupperware was especially noted for its global competitiveness and the quality of its products, ranking third and fourth respectively within the industry in those categories.
“In established and emerging markets, these consultants are the face of Tupperware Brands, and it’s their hard work that has earned us this honor.”

“This is the fourth year in a row that Tupperware has been named a ‘Most Admired Company’, which is a testament both to the great work our designers are doing in developing innovative new products and the incredible job our millions of consultants around the globe are doing in representing our brand and growing our business,” said Rick Goings, Chairman and CEO of Tupperware Brands Corporation. “In established and emerging markets, these consultants are the face of Tupperware Brands, and it’s their hard work that has earned us this honor.”

The Fortune “Most Admired Companies” list is the definitive report card on corporate reputations and is compiled in partnership with Hay Group. Based on an initial list of approximately 1,400 companies, Hay Group sorts companies by industry and then ranks them based on a survey of executives, directors and analysts who rate companies in their own industry on nine criteria, from innovation to investment value to social responsibility. In order to be included in The Most Admired list, a company’s score must rank in the top half of its industry survey.

The latest rankings can be found in the March 21, 2011 issue of the magazine, as well as online. To see the full list of Home Equipment Brands, visit:http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/mostadmired/2011/industries/26.html
